Vanderbilt has established an Office of Sustainability and Environmental Management; their web site SustainVU contains valuable information about conserving important environmental resources.

Ways to support the program:

• Suspend printing your payroll advice. To do so, send an e-mail to mailto:Payroll@vanderbilt.edu
• Set your printer default to duplex
• Carpool or consider mass transit
  • Free rides on the Nashville MTA
  • Discounted tickets on the Music City Star
• Recycle (bottles, cans, telephone books, printer/copier cartridges, etc.)
• Recycle computers
• Use Shred-IT for confidentiality and to recycle discarded paper
